Wow - "Southern girls would rather die than join them." Is this the same southern gals that have "southern values." Sound very judgmental to me. From what I have learned - DG girls are very sweet, smart and fun.

Nothing like keeping the OR v. NR hate alive. Other than the bunch of OR moms that have always been on GR, I don’t think there is this much hate among the girls currently in houses here. OR mom, it’s not 1992 anymore.

Well, the "Southern Girls" who "rather die" are for the most part a group of socially in-bred dullards who have to real life to look forward to after college except heading back to Mountainview/Huntsville/etc. In case you haven't noticed, a lot of the OOR girls come in with higher grades and greater career potential.
The person who made that post is a sad little person.

My freshman roommate was a DG.
Will give her she was “sweet” around her sisters. They were all just b—tches to me.
If I was around when a group of DGs would meet in our room, they were particularly snipey and would throw shade - “I can’t see spending that much on a purse”, “Who would ever go to (where I was going)”, “(My boyfriends house) was full of arrogant guys”.
It was literally every time and it was always some passive aggressive BS. Act like I was out of earshot and play petty games.
But out in the broader school community or when my friends came around, they were all generally shy, kept their mouths shut, stuck together and kept to themselves.
My read - generally insecure but comfortable amongst themselves.
They can have each other! \n\n\n\n\n
