Good luck to The Class of 2026. This post is to help you. Go into recruitment with an open mind. I was where you are a year ago. I didn't know a soul going into recruitment and was overwhelmed by so much of this. When you hear "trust the process", this is so true. Do NOT get your heart set on a certain house. There is an entire process in which they rank you and you rank your favorites. It will all come down to your final two houses.
In State Girls:
PM AXO KKG
XO AGD DDD
Out of State:
ZTA PIPHI ADPI
DZ GPHI APHI

And if you’re not trendy and beautiful in ZTA you will feel left out. If you’re not one of the Pike loving party girls in Aphi you will left out. If you don’t fit on one side of one of the Gphi spectrums you will feel left out. If you aren’t the most studios and more into partying you will feel left out in Adpi. Literally every house has cliques and divides. The reason the cool girls end up dropping the above houses is bc the more studious girls are on exec and more strict on them. Just like the southern girls are on exec in OR.

and i would switch adpi with aphi… as controversial aphi is, they are much much more desired during rush than adpi. plenty of girls coming thru rush want aphi as a first choice

Aphi is desired if you have a low GPA. The girls with high GPA's DO NOT want Aphi...

Aphi is desired if you’re pretty and don’t know anything about the house except that they like pretty girls. If you know their history of scandals, national recruitment tactics, etc then you do not want to join

PBP and Aphi are more desired than Adpi. Adpi is only ranked higher on here bc they are lowkey. PBP is like a top NR choice and the hot party OOS girls want Aphi and/or ZTA. Girls that go Adpi most likely desired OR, PBP before Adpi. Also Aphi, ZTA, Gphi, DZ have lower GPAs and that’s ok lol I don’t think girls that go those houses care about that. Not only that but not EVERY girl has low gpas in those houses. Lasssst thing is grades don’t really matter in NR. Gphi is becoming more relevant than ADP and that’s bc they became more lenient with taking fun girls with low gpas in high school.

I think the rank is pretty accurate. Zeta, Piphi and ADpi all had great classes this year. Piphi and ADpi have little drama compared to Zeta. Great sisterhood too. I feel bad for this years Aphi class. The troubles were beyond their control.

I actually don’t think adpi and pi phi had solid classes. Just bc they don’t have advertised drama (or people don’t care enough) doesn’t mean they had solid PCs. Nothing against them at all but I think Gphi and Aphi were more impressive and I feel like ppl just associate lowkey/no known drama=good.

Hey adpi 👋 you can keep the bragging rights of higher grades while the srats you claim to be above actually get invited to date parties and formals 😂

Also being in a sorority isn’t their personality trait. They can still have fun, be invited to functions, and be relevant without their sorority. Where is an adpi who brags about grades if she drops?

Especially after college?
Will it be like… oh I used to be in a sorority that was known for somehow pretty party girls but I don‘t even remember our founders core values.
Don’t expect anyone in your near future to recognize / applaud you because you brag about having been invited to fraternity functions 😂. Your future boss doesn’t care if you were an Ax or Bxy or Gxz but your grades will make a difference. If you like starting as an intern go for it but if you like to get a full time job after college … well your choice…

Let the ADpi bullying start again. What is your beef? My roommate is ADpi and they have an amazing sisterhood and have lots of functions each week. Crazy to me to see people on GR intimidated by them.

DZ and Theta are definitely houses to watch based on their ‘20 and ‘21 pledge classes. They will for sure continue to take girls away from other NR houses.

Simply giving advice for if you are out of state vs in state. If you are from out of state, you most likely will feel left out of KD / Kappa. A few of my friends have dropped due to not getting invited to events for only local girls.
