northern girls in gphi?

Are Florida PNMs considered Southern or are they more of a wildcard? Just curious because they don't always fit that "Southern Girl" stereotype despite being the southernmost state. Sometimes they can be like a Northern girl via style/personality or even reflect that of Texans.

The comments on this post are spot on. With the number of PNM’s increasing every year, OOR PNM’s are going to have an even more difficult time getting bids from traditional OR houses (that are still top choices for Southern girls) because the Southern PNMs will use their high school and other connections to get into those houses. Many of the OR houses are high school 2.0 for Southern girls from certain area codes.
However, with more OOR attending Bama each year, the preference for OR is starting to diminish and many OOR PNMs are not going to like the OR houses during recruitment. As a result, NR houses are rising in interest. It’s a fact.
OR HATES this new reality at Bama and will continue to post on GR about how much better OR is. It’s all hilarious and out of touch with what is happening to the demographics of the campus.

I am a Florida girl and had a full card each round as did many of the other Florida girls I have met. I ended up exactly where I wanted to be.
