how to get bid/cob??
by: cobIs it appropriate to reach out to recruitment chairs or other girls in the houses to try to get a bid during cob? I’m really interested in one of the houses and scared with how many pnm the new fall class is supposedly going to have

That's ridiculous. Y'all are obsessed with being 'blacklisted.' Sororities are NOT focused on finding any little thing about a pnm to eliminate her from consideration, they are focused on finding positive qualities for a good fit. Letting them know you are interested in membership with them is NOT a bad thing. It's not desperate, it's reasonable. "Oh my God I really really really want a bid and if I don't get one from you I'm gonna die!" - that would be desperate. Just tell them you are interested. The girls that get bids do this. Same goes for formal recruitment too. And when you are in a job interview, if you want that job, tell them that you want the job. Can you imagine that they wouldn't hire you because you told them you wanted to be hired?

I saw something on another thread posted by an active that they’re expecting around 3500 girls this fall

You’re supposed to reach out to the chairs over email/social media after you fill out the interest form on the Panhellenic website ? What are you supposed to say?
