AGD vs AXO difference between the two

What’s the difference in the alpha gam and alpha chi? A lot of ppl say they r similar but people also say they are very dif? Which is more preferable ?

Alpha gams are more far away from their HQ policies than AXO s. Axo has more democrats than the other. Both chapters are strong and have an incredible alumnae support. Read between the lines.

both have sticks up their butts and their only flex is being old row when they only got in because they know 27 girls from high school

AGD is way more connected than AXO. Their advisor is Paul Tyson’s mother, so very much Birmingham old money. More established house overall but giant sticks up their ass. Haha. AXO is definitely a close cousin of AGD. Both old row and still very Alabama-centric. Rare to find out of region girls.

Sorry but AXO is more connected than AGD. Paul Tyson’s mother has zero impact on campus politics and has no connections that will benefit you on campus. Also, he’s transferring, so there’s that. AXO has way more diversity/OOR girls than AGD. AGD is is a Bible thumper house and that’s all they have to offer. If you are left with these two, you will have a lot more fun and opportunity in AXO.

^Dang girl someone got dropped. Don’t get me wrong I’m personally not a big alpha gam fan but like they are probably the most involvement connected house there is. To say Bear Bryant’s grand daughter can’t help you is hilarious 😂 this whole university is a monument to him

AGD is more southern than AXO. That’s honestly really it. They are super similar, both are great houses.

AXO is definitely better. The sisterhood is stronger, girls are more involved, good grades without being crazy about it. One of the most desirable houses on campus. AGD tries too hard…

AXO is better than AGD. They’re more desirable to fraternities, more involved on campus, more well rounded and better looking. XO is similar to these two but my friends in XO are more laid back and party more than friends in the other two. If I had a choice I’d go AXO or XO over AGD. Fraternities don’t like AGD as much as the other two. AGD is EXTREMELY religious. If you like to party much at all you won’t be happy there.

Don’t forget their national reputations. AXO is decent nationwide. AGD is awful on every campus except Alabama and Auburn. You’re not going to get any good connections nationally from being an Alpha Gam. They’re not on most southern campuses and where they are they’re bad.

Super lame and stupid comment regarding connections. You have no idea how connected AGDs are across the country….once you graduate it’s about the jobs not popularity and AGDs across the country are impressive as are AXOs. It’s bigger than your nationals LOL
