by: AdviceA heads up to all the girls thinking it’s a good idea to do OOTD and all that again on tiktok next year…it’s a good way to get cut from sororities you otherwise would’ve had a chance at. We don’t want the national attention on our houses and you become a huge liability to give a bid to if you blow up. A lot of girls are not happy with the attention we are getting and just want a normal sorority life. Outsiders on tiktok opens up the door to a lot of things that we don’t want.

If you do decide to do it, make sure that you’re not listing the houses you’re going back to by name, keep it vague, if you mention you got asked back to Phi Mu in a video, that’s only asking to be cut by Phi Mu if they see it or it blows up. And for the love of god, don’t post in front of the houses or talk about any houses that you want by name while you’re still doing rush.

The Emma and Hayley drama is a good example. And if Emma doesn’t love Adpi and drops, she could say things that harms the house rep to thousands of people on tiktok. This is why you won’t get a bid. If you’re going to talk about rush on tiktok, be lowkey about it but I would just avoid it all together. It does more harm than help for your case and Greek life as a whole.

I'm beginning to feel like there should be a required security deposit to sign the MRABA card. Anybody who accepts a bid and stays and participates in their sorority for a year can get a third of it back, stay for two and get the rest of it. Don't sign the card and walk away free. Sign it and drop early or get kicked out and you forfeit your money. Put the funds into philanthropy.
