I saw someone on here talking about freshman dorms and which floors are "cooler"? Does the floor you stay on really affect how you're perceived?

Are there “cool” or “fun” floors? Yes. That doesn’t mean someone will be like “ew she lives on the 12th floor? We can hang with her” nobody actually cares what floor you live on

For the last 10 years, the popular floors are 8th and 9th. Wouldn't be caught dead on 3rd thru the 6th floors.
