Transfer affiliation at new school
by: AXO transferI’m transferring to bama from another college out of state. I am an active alpha chi omega. Will I be accepted to alpha chi here?

because I want to know the vibe of the school. my sister transferred and the girls voted no immediately. so I am unaware of how cutthroat alabama is to new sisters

Here’s how it works. The members will vote on you, and most likely yes, they will let you affiliate. However I want to be really honest with you. You will never be fully accepted and fit in. You didn’t go through rush here. You weren’t hand picked for their pledge class and you didn’t go through pledgeship with those girls either. I am so excited you want to come to Alabama, but I want you to have a realistic expectation of what affiliating means.
