New Row is where it is at

I go to a dif school & we obv don’t have NR & OR, but I will tell you that the houses that are all people from the same town/knew each other through high school, camp friends, hometown family friends etc are literally bottom tier or mid-bottom at best. And yes a lot of them are beautiful looking girls (probably better looking than many of the mid houses) but it’s looked down upon elsewhere to join a sorority in college to be friends with everyone you knew from back home.

This is a debate about “better”.
If your are part of and want to continue to be part of an instate clique - those houses are better - TO YOU.
If you have no interest in moving to B-ham or Mobile, then it’s likely other houses are better TO YOU.
Ranks are just a matter of perspective. And generally show who is most insecure and interested in feeling superior.

Interesting on the many posts boasting about OR ruling, but it is obvious that NR received the top PNM's, and when mentioned , it hits a nerve.

Look, you don’t get it. These Old Row girls will always be in these groups and they will always be in demand. Why? Because those in power back home expect it. These girls will be debutantes and then later in Junior League type social groups. Most of new row will cut all of them just because they went to certain private schools,etc. so I don’t see how it’s going to change where maybe these girls think about going a new row group, which truly have some great girls in them, so it’s too bad it works out like that.
