by: Actually feralSome of the comments are absolutely vile and are the reason why the South has such a bad reputation. It’s some of the same people who claim that they want gender equality, are devout Christians (news flash, Jesus loved everyone), or bashing the lack of diversity and POC in a chapter, who then turn around and say the girl with Down’s Syndrome didn’t deserve a bid from AGD or that she was a “token”. That girl is 100x more of a woman than any of you sad trolls are, and will achieve more in her life than you can ever even aspire to. Seems like some people only want diversity when it’s palatable/digestible to you, and once someone diverse is a threat to you, then you no longer want equality. AGD is not my crowd, but they have taken more steps than many of the other chapters in actually creating tangible change. Go get therapy.

So you have warm fuzzies for everyone unless they have a different opinion than you? They are clubs - no more no less - and for it to go forward people would have to want to be in the club. So I’m glad that you think the mentally challenged PNMis going to rule the world. This isn’t a charity.

and why wouldn't someone want to be in a sorority with diverse pnms? do you think then as well then that sororities with POC would mean that people would no longer "want to be in the club"? that POC are charity cases too? you're despicable

Unless they are going to baby sit her 24/7 she is going to be a liability at mixers. I know it is an uncomfortable truth, but we all know the type of things that can happen to women. They are either going to be putting her in danger or are going to have to assign her a babysitter at every function.

There are plenty of girls, particularly POC/OOS, who are apprehensive about rushing because they don't fit the stereotypical sorority mold. Seeing that chapters actually walk it like they talk and have girls from every background would make plenty of girls "want to be in the club" and that they have a legitimate sisterhood.
