You can drop sure but you’re bound to that bid for a year you cannot accept any other bids from panhel sororities including SDT or adx until august 2022

i went through this last year so please listen bc this is true. if you went to bid day, you CANNOT cob this school year. if you even submitted preferences (votes) after preference round you cannot. i went through this last year and decided to drop completely before even attending pref parties so that i was still eligible for cob the same year. The rule is: if you are given a bid and turn it down (meaning, if you got a bid and chose not to show up at that house today), and then if you DO go to the house, you are not eligible within the same school year. meaning you’re basically stuck if you didn’t drop out of recruitment yesterday. the only thing you can do is rerush NEXT FALL, or COB later

Since you can not COB till next year, may as well stay and give a chance till initiation. Whether you drop now or just before initiation, you will not be able to go through recruitment till next year. Srats are most socially useful first two years. Just go to every event at house, and when there keep asking other pnms to join you in every thing you do…walk back to dorm, get iced coffee after meeting, etc. Other newbies will appreciate being included/invited.
