Theta bid day Jersey?

Why do their bid day jerseys say theta instead of using the Greek letters like everyone else?

Sooo....technically you aren’t “allowed” to wear GREEK letters until you’re initiated (so like THETA or DG or ACHIO are cool but not the Greek letters) however many national orgs said no that’s hazing you can’t tell people to do that. So most people were like eh ok. But theta just doesn’t give them clothing with Greek letters to avoid all that.

It’s one of their rules that they can’t wear their actual letters or put them in their bios until they’re initiated. They can only use “theta” until then. Once they’re initiated they swap out their jerseys for new ones that say KAT
