by: :)It is extremely frustrating watching tiktok people come on greekrank bashing something they know nothing about. Rush is entirely a numbers game, so many girls get dropped every day of rush considering we CANNOT keep everyone. Also every year UA sororities are gaining better and more inclusive pc's. This fact may be hard to tell from an outside perspective, from someone who knows absolutely nothing about rush and the history of UA; but every chapter is actively rushing with inclusivity in mind. However, rush is still a predominately white cis/het event on UA's campus due to many WOC and LGBTQ+ individuals not finding greek life safe or comfortable for them to join due to the long history of bigotry in UA's greek life. Which is something all sororities on campus are trying to dismantle every single year and continue to keep in mind during rush off seasons by actively supporting their sisters who are WOC and LGBTQ+, reprimanding individuals who do have prejudices against these members and also by refusing to tokenize them to prove diversity of a chapter.

i do listen to people who have been in sororities and dropped because they don’t want to be apart of such a disgusting system anymore. and i WATCH. where are the plus sized girls in the top houses? why is everyone looking like a model? and why there like 1 POC for every 50 white girls?

Literally look up RFM. There is an entire algorithm put together for sorority recruitment. That’s what we mean when we say it’s a numbers game

Panhel was getting sent death threats and being harassed on their social media and PNMs and members were being stalked and harassed online too so yeah it’s not really a “just ignore it” situation y’all have created.
