Trans rushing at Bama

by:

I’m not planning on telling them that I’m trans in case trans girls aren’t allowed. All of my legal documents are changed over to being a girl, realistically speaking are the girls going to call me out to my face or is there a chance I’ll get through as a stealth? I pass really well and could be used as an example of trans girls who are prettier than cis girls

some national organizations have policies against trans unfortunately. So like it’s basically breaking a bylaw if they find out. So realistically you wouldn’t be living your truth for four years. Also you would have to SWEEP the internet of your identity before you transitioned. :(

Blatantly false. Many sororities have actually amended their constitutions and/or by-laws to be inclusive of trans women. But thanks for being TERFy

It is not false. Not all NPC sororities have accepted transgenders and some specifically state the opposite. Also, a national policy being inclusive is one thing but chapters still make their own membership selections. Bama would be a very hard way to test what would happen, and starting out with a lie that would eventually be found out is not the way to play this.

which is why I said some not all!! some sororities are open to transgender members but only one specifically says they accept transgender women. The others word it along the line as "identifies as a woman". Yes there is a difference

They WILL know, and the houses that may not know will find out before rush is over. Better to be honest about it upfront. If you lie, it will be even worse when they find out cause they will.

More bored tiktok trolls purposefully asking triggering Qs. If they actually wanted information they could go to our orgs websites but no they want to come here and argue and be aggressive.

Last year at my school a girl went through recruitment was dropped from 5 of 8 sororities before recruitment even started because nationals had policies that did not allow for transgender women. I had to attend the panhel meeting to discuss it because we all had no clue how to handle it. So yes, there are still sororities that are openly transphobic on national level.

just like dumb cis hoes to not consider that my decision to go to a school might depend on whether or not I’ll be able to rush as a trans girl.
