This isn’t a joke people are sending in death threats to individual chapters and bama Greek life’s office. Because a girl didn’t get into a sorority for reasons plenty of PNMs and sorority members are kicked out every year. They’re going to stop chapters mail to be searched going forward and are calling in increased security for bid day and now visitors might not be able to attend.
Thanks tiktok !!! Rushtok was literally the worst thing to happen to this school.

Panhel exec was trying to post cute things on their stories and all the responses were like telling them to kill themselves it’s awful.

But why would they want to? Is this like the equivalent of those crazy sports parents who yell at referees? Moms living vicariously through their daughters? Do they go with them to their first day of work, too?

Idk it’s a part of alabama white people culture. Idk how else to explain it to you. My parents didn’t come bc I’m from out of state but for a lot of in state families this is important.

K my bad 🤷🏻♀️ Again, not from here originally so I just went based off what my friends told me on bid day. My parents never went to college so we didn’t know about any of this so I just assumed it was a weird southern white person thing like debutant coming out parties.

Oof, wanna hear about my Debutante Ball? Those are also a huge deal in certain black communities. We weren’t allowed to join the white ones during segregation, so we made our own. I’m a third gen. Haha!

We couldn’t have social media during rush back in my day 👵🏻 Like when did they stop telling girls to not post about rush on social media? Clearly after I graduated.
