Pnm scandals are all the same

Several years ago an Old Row house had to drop legacy status top pnms because the girls made a video that they should not have made and it went viral. These were WHITE GIRLS and they had to withdraw from recruitment.
This isn’t discrimination, everyone is being held to a similar standard. If you have a video on Old Row Official and you haven’t even graduated high school, that’s gonna be a problem.

She was a pnm and she was going against rule #1, which is don't show favoritism to one particular sorority as a pnm. It is presumptuous, rude and embarrassing.

Oldies had to deactivate their social media back in the day to take part in rush all I’ve the country not just bama.
Every year there are questionable videos or snaps and no one care but bc everyone and their brother suddenly “discovered” sorority recruitment now they wanna tell us what to do and how recruiting works? Please.

Tiktok people also don't realize that chapter members who do this stuff also get in huge trouble/kicked out. If it's really bad the university will get involved. There are still places where behavior counts and catches up sometimes. It's not fun or a pleasant thing for us to have to deal with either. If you don't get it then you don't get it.

Five or six years ago there was a TFM Girl of the Week and Vineyard Vines model who rushed and got cut everywhere but DZ for QR. At first they bragged about getting her because she was internet famous, but she ended up quitting because the other girls bullied her for being pretty.

DZ wanted her because she was so pretty, and they were thrilled they got her, but she wasn't exactly wholesome, and she got worse and DZ had to start some warnings because of standards. Of course she said she was bullied for being pretty, what else could she say about it? The tipoff was TFM, not exactly a reputable site.

She wasn’t even a real vineyard vines model omg vineyard vines like used her grandparents home for a shoot and they asked to be in the catalogue or something. She def had a complex

This was like 6 years ago? She was very pretty and had a nice enough personality. She sold purses and now is in real estate? Her parents literally went bankrupt, so nope… not going to go OR. She was in the same friend group as the AP recruitment chair/president during their recruitment scandal years and had to drop because she went under credit hours while doing Mobile Mardi Gras. The DZ girl did date a very mid looking KA for a long time and was the only DZ at their events. Times have changed and DZ has improved.

Likely not all sororities knew about it at the beginning of rush. Some have better sources than others. Sometimes it never gets all the way around, there are PNM’s each year who have a pretty serious QR issue but get a bid because one house wasn’t in the know.

Some knew about it earlier in the week from looking into social media and then told other sororities during the week. People know each other here and it's in everyone's best interest to help each other be informed about something like this.
