Some chapters didn’t know about it until later. It wasn’t purposeful, ain’t nobody got time for that.

It may have happened because they liked her, she is a cute girl, and they were on the fence about the video even though it’s normally a big no-no

for her to be dropped in the final days of rush for an old video is so confusing to me. Like did the video only just resurface because someone looked her name up due to her Tiktok popularity? You’re telling me not a single house saw the video until yesterday even though these sororities never shut up about how meticulous they are about checking girls’ social media? I get why they dropped her, just don’t understand why it happened so late in the process. Poor girl

She had a huge following, was popular, likeable - it sounds like she had a great reputation. Which ever house she ended up in would have had so much recognition and good press. Dropping her reflects SO badly. Pulling up some old video that wasn’t even on anyone’s radars — there’s not even alcohol in the video! It makes you look incredibly catty. THAT is what ruins your sororities reputation. Ya’ll need to rethink this dumb decision. Anyone with critical thinking skills would know that

Yes, she’s popular but she was in high school. You have to have a pristine image to get into a sorority at Alabama. With 3000 girls going through recruitment, if there’s the option to pick between a girl who has been featured on old row clearly drunk or someone who has virtually no social media presence of them partying we will always choose the girl who doesn’t post about her partying. It sucks and I really do feel for her but just the way it is here. We can’t risk it

Likeable isn’t what makes for a great reputation it helps but there are a lot of other things that go into reputation. It’s common sense to keep your social media “tidy” if you plan on going through rush.

For people who don’t get it.
She sent the video of her and her friends drunk that’s why she was tagged. This is not “sorority girl” behavior/material. Had she already of been in a chapter and she did this she would have been sent to judicial board. This is the same for any chapter for almost all universities. This has nothing to do with race.
