What makes it a "good PC"
by: curiosityOkay, I'm in a sorority at a small college in California so it is NOTHING like Bama. When people say that a chapter "pulled a good PC", what does that mean?? Like does it mean that there a bunch of pretty, stylish girls in the PC? Or like girls with great rec letters/ conversations with actives? Or is it that a bunch of chapters were fighting over a a lot of the same girls? Im curious

A good pledge class’s does depend…..
If a house wants girls from a certain group of highs schools, well to them getting the “best” girls from those schools is a measure.
If you’re a looks/social house, then of course, getting an attractive and fun group matters.
Grades and involvement houses want girls likely to perform.
Most of the chat here is about pnms getting the houses they want, but it is also true that houses do compete for girls and also may or may not get the girls on the top of their list.
Only girls in the house really know. Others can speculate, and broadcast their opinions - but at best that is going to be based on a few girls they may know and their assumptions about what houses wanted these girls versus where they landed.

I really don’t know why y’all are even playing and wasting your time with these long af explanations. “XYZ for a great pledge class” or “ABC got a bad pledge class” is almost exclusively based on looks. I’m definitely not saying that that’s what makes a good pledge class, but that’s the literal only thing that people outside the house can see about a PC, so that’s what those statements are based on.

This is so true. Downvotes from anyone who's just looking for something shallow and degrading to find fault and stir drama.
