It’s called old row honey. You obviously are out of state and don’t understand how the actual top houses work. The structure of rush at Alabama, specifically every old row sorority, is insane and very premeditated. It’s nearly impossible to get into some houses unless you are a legacy or have a certain zip code. If you think just being pretty will get you in that’s a joke

It’s def not about looks which is a good thing. But I think it’s kinda messed up that top “consists” of low class, small town Alabama girls with the same zip code. There’s a lot more to PNMs than that, and if they weren’t close minded they’d realize a lot of OOR girls are smarter, higher class, and will actually go places in life rather than back to middle of nowhere Alabama to be a housewife that sits on Greekrank all day.

First of all, these girls are far from LOW CLASS. Most are from old-money families who’ve been involved in Bama Greek life forever.
Sure, they may be “old school”—but it’s these dedicated alums who BUILD NEW HOUSES and contribute heavily to their groups.
FYI—there are CERTAINLY not enough of these girls to fill KD’s or KAPPA’s or CHI O’s pledge classes. All these groups DO pick up wealthy or connected OOS or OOR girls.
You want just looks: see A Phi for example. Looks but no class or brains or dedication to Greek life, hence their huge drop-out rate and awful grades.

Alabama wealth is the average family income for Northeast and West Coast. The 1% of Alabama is just upper middle class for NY, NJ, CA, MA. Etc... so stop using that argument. Everywhere else in the country would call u low class.
