fill me in on the alabama rush process

as a northeastern girl currently attending school in nyc, i’m surprised at how invested i am in alabama rush culture. but i am! so i have questions: which are the “top tier” sororities and the ones to avion, is their any major drama between the PNMS or between houses fighting for the same PNMS, is the process stressful? etc.
