Confused w/ adpi

I was kinda shocked this morning after adpi. I really did not think twice about them during philanthropy and was planning on dropping them for pref. However I was completely blown away by their positive energy and genuine sisterhood they showed during this round. I feel a little torn because I feel like I should go old row for the rep but I also really feel connected to adpi now. How much does old row/new row matter coming from someone from the south?

Old Row doesn’t matter anymore with the influx of out of state girls. The only people who care are the legacies from Mobile and Mountain Brook. If you love a house, go for it because you love them and not because they’re old row or new row. You’ll be much happier if you follow your heart instead of a status symbol. Remember, this is for four years and you don’t want to make the wrong decision

no one gaf about old row v new row after first semester except the grandmas on here. also if you go old row you’ll have to compete with with girls in your house for things on campus. they can only let so many chi os be in sga before it starts to look sus

If you're choosing houses because of status, then you're rushing for the wrong reason. No one cares about "rep" or status, old/new row, tiers, bottom/top IRL. Seriously, no one cares what house you are in. Choose for yourself, not for what others say.
