I dropped out....

by: Yup

To be perfectly clear, I came to Bama to for many reasons. The cost and quality of education. Escaping brutal winters.... However I was genuinely interested in joining a sorority. My choice had nothing to do with my round 3 houses, but everything to do with the fact I don't think it's for me. I've met some awesome girls this week and wish you all the best!

Being Greek in any house is better than being independent. It's not impossible to have a good college experience without it, but there are many PNMs who regret not giving it a chance.

Being independent is a valid choice, but you have to own your choice. I can't count the times I've read something here like "I dropped out because I didn't like the houses I had left. Now I hate it here and want to transfer because it's too focused on Greek life!"

Recruitment is just the show. It is not every day real life. I would encourage you to try it out. If you can’t continue contact Panhellenic after rush about COB. Some smaller chapters have a few spots every semester.

This is not an airport you don’t need to announce your departure
