absolutely everything about you is taken into account. your involvement, where you are from, your hobbies, your appearance, your vibe. not necessarily hair color or skin color though

I don't think it's looks necessarily but more how put together you are. Like if you're beautiful but your hair and clothes are a mess and you look like you just don't give a crap, then that can hurt you. If you're not as conventionally beautiful but are well dressed etc. then you'll do better

Yes, of course looks matter. They matter in all aspects of life. But your unique look at your very best is what is important because each house has a different idea of what they like. Some girls are more natural with not a lot of makeup and simple hair, and usually have a simple and flattering fashion style that they know looks great. Others would never go out without spending an hour on their face and another on their hair and go get tanned, dyed, extended and gel'd weekly and only wear hot fashion trends. Still others are more quirky with their look and go boho or have a streak in their hair and some piercings and it suits them. There is a place for every look as long as she is CONFIDENT in her look, it's FLATTERING, APPROPRIATE for the occasion and shows her off at her BEST. You be you at your very best.
