Theta vs AOPi vs SK

Is there much difference between the 3? If so what is the difference and your opinions of them?

bumping, I got all of them back for philanthropy and enjoyed all of them wondering why they rank so low on all the tier lists

theta and aopi have been on campus longer and have nicer houses, but sk is gaining some ground. all sweet girls for the most part. I have friends in all 3 but have heard of some tension with the aopi sisterhood. just hearsay since I’m not in any of these sororities

I would agree with this, senior here and have some friends in aopi and say some girls are straight up rude. as for sk and theta being low, I think it’s because they don’t require a certain look or social status to get in so they aren’t as exclusive

lol @Pnm please. everything that we do for recruitment is an act. they arrange us in groups to rush with our friends or girls we have stuff in common with so everyone is gonna look like friends and play that up. aopi is known for being a nice group of girls but every house has mean girls and things they hide behind closed doors… don’t be fooled

I would rank aopi above the other 2 but would rank all of them bottom, but keep in mind at Alabama bottom is top anywhere else because our Greek life is so great. So your experience in a bottom house will be just as amazing and fun as in any other. They’re comparable so it would just be where you fit better

Don't trust greekrank. Rank those houses the way they make you feel, not the way a bunch of randos on an anonymous website rank them. All the houses here will give you a great sorority experience. OR or NR doesn't matter.

It literally doesn't matter. Yes, Aopi is ranked slightly above theta and sk, but there are really nice girls in all.

I loved SK! I didn't think I would but they were so friendly and welcoming. I liked their philanthropy too.

Theta has some really nice girls. I don’t know anyone in SK so I can’t really speak on them.

This is just my personal opinion but I would put AOPi above both of them and actually above a few other houses too.

I definitely wouldn’t put aopi with theta and sk. Imo they belong on the same level as dg/dz/gphi. Very very similar to dg, and dz/gphi are the more social, less academic versions of those 2 houses. Imo, aopi is the best of these 3, and theta is above sk just because they’re more established here since sk is so new. Sk could easily pass theta in the coming years though

Theta pushes their great sisterhood, but it isn't as good as they say it is. A lot of girls are bitter and resentful that they didn't get a better house but settled just to be able to say they were in a sorority. Many don't wear their letters in public because they don't want to get judged. There's also a divide between the pretty, fun girls and the awkward, less social girls.

My bestie is a Theta and that house seems pretty great.

Theta is a great house. They're a top house nationally and concentrate on academics. The people being critical are the girls in SK and AOII. Theta is doing well and those houses know they've been surpassed.

aopi is a great house! The girls are involved on campus and very girl next door vibes. Theta is a bit odd and has major retention issues. SK is new and trying to get their footing.
