Political Beliefs

Hi! I know we aren’t supposed to ask anything about politics during our conversations but maybe I can get some insight on here. I’m a democrat and I want to know which sororities either have more democrats or at least will be welcoming. And which are more right wing. It won’t be a major factor in my choice but it would still be nice to know. Thank you so so much!!

giiiirl I’m so glad you asked this I was SO scared to!!!! I’m rushing rn too so I obviously can’t know for sure but I know some phi mu’s from home and they vote like we do but I’m not sure if that’s reflective of every member in that house obviously. If you find out where the liberals are lmk I agree it’s not a HUGE deal but something I’m thinking about

I’m rushing so I don’t know anything BUT I know that there is at least one girl in zeta who is a liberal lol my mom’s friend’s daughter is in zeta here and I know she is super lib and has lots of friends in house so maybe there are more liberals in zeta??

i would go to a new row house - ADPi, PiPhi, APhi, Zeta, and all the others that are mostly OOS Girls. that’s your safest bet!

this is exactly why you’re not allowed to talk about politics during rush. everyone has conflicting opinions. If it’s that important you bring it up when you’re talking to a girl and see what happens

Most NR will have a mix. Remember, these houses have over 350 girls in them.

Most liberal OR is prob DDD - they have a lot of big city OOS girls. But they definitely have conservative members too.

We all know Northerners coming to Bama is a fad, total clout chaser. The cool school to be. You want to look cool because you’re at THE BEST SEC school.

So with that being said, if you’re going through recruitment at a Southern school obviously there are going to be many students on the right. Suck it up. Have an open mind. 🙄
