Chi o apparently has a new member period of the entire semester, so they initiate when they get back for the next semester.
Phi Mu, DG and Kappa is after 8 weeks.
Tri delta, AGD, alpha phi, DZ and KD is after 6 weeks. Zta seems to be 6 weeks too. Pi phi about 7 weeks. SK is 7 weeks.
AOII is 6 to 8 weeks.
Theta is 4 to 6 weeks.
Gphi is after 4 weeks.
Axo is within 8 weeks.
From what I found on adpi, you are an “alpha member” upon joining but you don’t become initiated until a year after for full membership.

So could you theoretically spend the entire year in adpi and then drop if you aren’t feeling it and rerush in the fall??

I’ve read that Chi O has a new member period of the entire semester. Have also seen it for the northern chapters.
But on IG they posted way earlier initiation congrats. So is it a chapter thing or does the Chi O Bama has different rituals and rules than the other ones?

Chi o nationally changed their initiation timeframe last year to make it shorter. That’s why they posted earlier last year than in years past and would explain the confusion.
