Stupid question. Meal plan?

Ok so it makes sense to eat at the house for all your meals when you live on campus, in house or really close? Do upper class men still eat there for the majority of their meals when they live in apartments or houses? I'm kind of ahead of myself here but I've always planned to live in one of my family's investment houses junior and senior year. They are all at least 3 miles away from campus

If the chapter requires the meal plan then yes. And they're not a bad $ deal anyway. Are you not planning to come to classes? On campus?

Of course but I doubt I'll have classes breakfast to dinner mon- friday

The sorority house meal plan is included as part of your dues, so you pay for the food regardless of if you eat at the house or not. A lot of upperclassmen that live on campus eat at the house between classes when they’re on campus, and then just make their own food or go out when they don’t feel like going back to campus or it’s not convenient for the schedule to make a trip to the house

Oops, I meant to say upperclassmen that live off campus

The thing about meal plans is that everybody has to be on it to make it work. The costs of the meals and running the kitchen have to be covered. No one can opt out because the price is always based on X number of meals.
