How much should I be texting rush chairs?

I have been talking to a rush chair at a fraternity here and he said to call him when I move in so we can meet up. Should I leave it at that or can I call him if I have any questions without coming off as annoying? How much contact does a fraternity deem too much prior to moving in?

Maybe sent him a text telling him when you are moving (and tell him you’ll text him when you get here) so you will be fresh in his memory. Then text when you here. If you know any girls/guys/alumni who know someone in that fraternity have them reach out too.
