Thoughts on SK

SK came on campus in 2018. There are about 200 members...very diverse group. The SK's I know are really genuine, nice girls and are very welcoming. They have lots of swaps, date parties, sisterhood events, etc. just like any other sorority. They are in the swing house on the row for now...members can live in and they have meals the same as other houses. They are doing their best to grow...other than the founding members in 2018, PC '19 was the only group with a normal recruitment. Last year was virtual. So this year's rush is only the 2nd normal one.

If you keep an open mind and not worry about a smaller physical house, you will find a group of really great girls. Go on their insta and also the chapter website and look through All of the albums.

SK has a very good sisterhood. They do have a plan for a mansion in the coming years. Their national says they have to be on campus a certain number of years. But once they get a new house, recruitment will be much easier for them. Don't count them out!!

SK girls are super nice. They get a bad rap on GR but in reality they are a good house. Just new, which is not their fault. If you want a genuine sisterhood, normal and nice girls...SK is this.

No matter what, during rush...make your own decisions.

I loved SK and kept them most of the way through recruitment. I knew I belonged somewhere else by the time I got to pref, but I have so many great friends that are SKs, I would have been happy there too.

They are new but growing. Nothing wrong with them.

They are getting their mansion next year! It's going to go where Harris Hall used to be, across from Theta and AOII. Happy for them!

Bump! Sk’s are literally one of the nicest and one of the most inclusive sororities on this campus. Their new house will be next to alpha chi and across from theta where Harris once stood. Don’t count them out, they’re growing stronger every year and have been getting great pc’s!
