Fraternity rush events

It's easier for some who don't know anyone at a house to go there with a friend or two, at first, but don't ever give the impression that you're a package deal. A house might only be interested in you and you need to consider that. Y'all may also start liking different houses, which is normal. When considering accepting a bid somewhere, look around at the other guys who have accepted and would be in your pledge class. That's going to be your close friend group. You may like the older guys, but your pledge brothers are the make or break for your whole experience.

I pledged a house with people I knew from high school vs a house that I really liked but only knew because older sorority girls from my high school introduced me to them. I liked the house I pledged but sometimes wish I would have got out of my comfort zone and not just hung out with high school friends.
