Will kkg actually rush poc this year??
by: AccountabilitySooo when is kappa gonna realize this isn’t the 1920s and actually start to be more diverse. It’s sad as a Panhellenic community that this even has to be said still. We need to be more welcoming to poc and make everyone feel welcomed. Aren’t they the only ones on the row to be a completely white sorority? Little raci… sus.

We all have a responsibility as Panhellenic members to move us in a positive direction and to call eachother out when we’re in the wrong. Let’s not step back into history. It breaks my heart reading poc post if any house will accept them! Reverse the roles, how awful that must feel. We need to do better.

Hope you know how dumb you sound lol. Black sororities were only created because white sororities wouldn't let non-white people in, but nice try. The roles have literally never "been reversed" and never will be

I'm a WOC and can confirm it hurts during rush knowing there could be houses that might not accept you because of your race, something you have zero control over. Not something white people have to think about, but trust me it sucks.
As much as APhi gets criticized (and yes there are issues with the house as a whole), I was more comfortable there than Kappa just knowing they've at least attempted to become more diverse and have a few POC. Was nice to know that if I got dropped it wouldn't necessarily be because of my skin color lol
