What happens at fraternity rush events
by: GIk this is Alabama and rush is different here, are informal rush events off campus different than formal. Not a big drinker and heard some stuff

The last thing you want to do is get wasted and make a fool of yourself. Guys don’t want someone who can’t handle their alcohol and embarrass them. If you feel peer pressure grab a beer and hold it. I rushed 2 old row and 2 new row and never was pressured into drinking.

I can’t say that was my experience. I was rushing a new row and it was a only 4 rushees chilling at an actives house and we were proceeded to shotgun about 8-10 times that night. This isn’t a Star Wars club it’s a fraternity at Alabama.
