Living in house
by: PnmSo I really like my own space. Only child and going to live in prez. The idea of living in house kinda turns me off but I am afraid I might miss a really great experience. Can anyone give me any advice?

most girls have good experiences but i’ll offer you my friend’s experience. in our house it’s tradition for older girls to live in house and the seniors were extremely mean and entitled when we were sophomores. she was one of a few sophomores who got to live in house (most of our house is seniors and juniors and its really hard to get in as a sophomore). her and her roomie were excluded out of everything and expected to “get out of the way” of the seniors and give up their spots for them. they would toss their wet clothes out of the machines and would monopolize all the typical in house hang out spots. they would “borrow” stuff from their closets without asking. yelled at them until they cried a few times. the older girls also would sneak in their bf’s and help others do so but my friend’s roomie snuck hers in once and got sent to standards for it lol. they complained repeatedly to exec but were told that it’s just their “old hazing mentality” bc sophomores don’t get to live in house usually and they consider it as stealing from a spot from a junior or senior.
the other sophomores (coincidentally exec’s favs and current exec members now 🥴) were treated like the rest of the upperclassmen and like real sisters. it was actually night and day. so lol i’d consider your house’s dynamics and their exec before you move in bc 🥴😩 it was awful
