Really want to be on e board
by: West coastSo I'm really out of state and was heavily involved in student council and various other leadership positions. I know in alot of houses in state and southern girls get these positions. What houses do I have a better chance at to have a leadership role? Any tips on what do during my first year to help me secure a position?

I would say regardless of the house it’s probably very rare that you’re gonna be on exec your first year. Not necessarily impossible, but rare. My house has positions under each member of exec that a lot of freshmen had this year which is usually a good segway into getting elected to exec later on

IDK how you can tell any PNM to "avoid old row houses" like that's actually in her control.

What she said. Avoid old row houses. Just show leadership potential, don't embarrass your self, have a great gpa and volunteer for some of the more boring things. Also don't play into the mean girl drama, be kind to everyone. I personally never want to be on exec but this is how I've seen girls in my house do it.
