Funny…when I went through recruitment in 2016 (yes ancient history) I was OOR and also loved KKG. It was by far
my favorite house. I was dropped after Philanthropy. 😞 Just try not to get too invested in any house. As someone else said earlier…the house picks you and you don’t pick the house. I landed in a lowish tier NR house and loved my experience. Remember, every house is truly amazing at Bama! Roll Tide

I have a friend that was dead set on kappa and a triple leg and they dropped her right before pref. She was heartbroken but loves where she is so always keep an open mind!

I too am OOR! It was my favorite OR house too. KKG puts on a great rush. They’re so welcoming, friendly and give an impression of being really ‘normal”…not too religious, not too academic and not so insular like KD. I think many OOR PNMs are drawn to KKG and if you polled many NR members they’d agree.

If you really want them I hope you get them but make sure you have a few back ups just in case the feeling isn't mutual
