What vibes is each sorority looking for?

Well with the first round being virtual, there is a certain “vibe” for all sororities, the first round of cuts I think will be based off of grades, rep, recs, etc. Sororities do this because all chapters have a certain type of girls they go for, you can’t rlly judge someone off social media pictures. Like for an example, AGD is known for the religious type. There’s over 300 girls in each chapter here at bama so everyone in the chapter will be different and won’t have the same vibe as you. But most sororities tend to go for girls who will fit in the most.

By vibe it's basically your resume and maybe in person interactions. For example, if you go in and have a 4.0 but are rude as hell OR have a bad reputation (i'm talking racism or something majorly bad, not like you once dated a girls cousin's ex boyfriend in the house) they will probably cut you. But if you have a 3.7, good conversation, etc, they will probably keep you. It is such a fast round and sometimes people do fall through and get dropped, but trust me, they aren't dropping people based on this round based on their Instagram/outfit (or any round, but especialllly this one). You'll be great, just be yourself and don't worry about "vibes" hahah

Don't try to match your own vibe to what you think a sorority's vibe is, especially from strangers on this site. It won't work during recruitment and will put you at a distinct disadvantage. Be your very best self and you will find your home.
