What does this typically mean if it means anything at

One of my Rec writers reached out to me and asked, "the chapter reached out to me and wanted some additional information about you so they can match you with people with similarities to you." Just curious.

They want to know which actives to pair you with at parties so you can have good conversations.

I personally have never heard of this happening but whoever wrote your review probably didn’t include much info about you and maybe your resume wasn’t the most detailed so they wanted more info? Seems weird to me, usually if that was the case in my house we’d just match you with someone random. Are you a legacy or something?

Was she writing your GPB rec? Is so, she could be asking because that is a question on the form. They ask specific questions in order to pair you during rush. Just a thought…..
