Hi im in gphi… alot has been said about this chapter but heres the truth. Does our exec need improvement? Yes but we are a new growing chapter. Is everything thats said on the internet true? No. All this drama and there is alot of lies. Only gphis know the truth and what yall are seeing on tiktok is far from it. Every house has their haters and gphi has seemed to get alot of hate this year, but there are always two sides to every story. I am in gphi and I absolutely love it! It has not only given me best friends but it has made me grow as a person. Alot can be said about every house at alabama, every house has “scandals” but pmns i can assure you that once you have a true conversation with a gphi, you will see that alot of things said online are hateful lies. So please keep an open mind for all of the houses and make your choices based on YOUR opinion not some tiktok or greek rank thread.

It’s not “haters” it’s former members coming forward with very similar accounts of their experiences with exec (with receipts!), not just the typical house bashing that happens on here. You can like your sorority and pnms can decide if they mesh during rush but there are undeniable DEEP rooted issues within the exec board, not even mentioning how they handled the DEI chair situation. These things aren’t “scandals” like girls being sloppy drunk at bars, they have real consequences and implications for the way this sorority is run.

I understand that GPB has only been at Bama for 32 years. But, y’all have been hard on members for years. My freshman year roommate left Bama because of bullying from her “sisters” and re-affiliated at her new campus with a much newer chapter with way less drama.
Oh, and ladies. This is a chapter that had workout hours that could be exchanged for study hours. I don’t know if they still do, but 3 years ago- yep.

For my roommate, it was a thing. She was dealing with a lot of family drama and put on a significant amount of weight in 2 months( I honestly believed she was hiding an ED for most of her teen life and switched to comfort food without purging). Her grades were not great either but she was passing everything. So, they said she could do workout hours in place of some of her study hours. I was shocked. I told her she should see someone for counseling at student health ( another big mistake, but whatever). But, her sisters telling her that they didn’t want to have her go with them in their swap groups due to her size were cruel.

Wow well if it’s true I’m sorry she was treated that way. Definitely not something I ever heard of happening but I guess that doesn’t mean it didn’t.

Not debating anything here except the workout hours— I was in this chapter three years ago and it definitely was not a thing. Our grades were so bad that it would never have been allowed
