Heard Chi Phi is getting a new house
by: PnmSupposedly it’s between Pike and Phi Delt on that grass lot set back on 4th street by the soccer fields.... anyone know if this is true?

DTD was on the list - not sure if they’re up yet though. Definitely within the next 4 years though as they work to make Jefferson a parking area.

Both ZBT and Chi Phi are getting new houses though it will be on Bryce Lawn Dr and 4th as their current houses will be demolished for an expansion of Brant Hall, though it is several years away.
No other houses will be built on University, despite a certain troll pushing a Sig Tau lie.

I heard about the demolition, although from what I’ve gathered Chi phi is supposed to have their house built in mid 2022. ZBT is still a little ways away. Chi Phi was apparently in the bid for over 5 years and Just got the all-clear. I wonder if this will change the reputations of these fraternities - although I’ve always found chi phi to be respectable

I’m in one of the fraternities you listed and I’ve heard absolutely nothing about a new house being built. This is all useless conjecture.

Interesting. I’ve seen floor plans for Chi Phi, so if you’re in ZBT that could explain it, as they’re not in the running for a new house yet, but they’re due for demo.

You’ll need to speak to a brother about that, but it’s an L-shaped design with a front similar to ATO.

#6 by: 2017 Master Plan
If you cool on the University's Website for the 2017 Master Plan you will see the changes coming, which includes the relocation of Chi Phi and ZBT along with all the cottage houses. The new location will be a re-routed Bryce Lawn Dr. Though no timeline has been published when the construction will commence.
What will not be built is any new houses on University.

Seemed pretty legitimate to me - current junior not in Greek Life but even I had seen floor plans and lot information. Supposedly construction begins mid/late 2022.
