Recommendation letters
by: RecI saw on the website that every sorority requires them? I’m wondering if sororities will actually drop you for not having rec letters, I saw some people from other posts say yes and some say no. I’m just wondering if they’ll actually drop you for not having one

Some houses will drop you for not having recs. I don’t know exactly which ones since every house has a different recruitment process, but think of it like this: if house xyz can only take 100 girls and needs to make cuts first round, and girls A and B are exactly the same on paper except girl A had a red letter, girl B is more likely to be the one who gets cut. But generally rec cuts will happen first round if at all, so if they keep you for philanthropy then that most likely won’t be why you’re cut
