Someone explain Bid Day Retreat
by: PnmIs it like an actual overnight retreat or do you just go somewhere for a couple hours? Can someone explain it and could someone give an example of theirs?

A few years ago, it used to be an overnight out of town. Usually at the aquarium, a hotel, a lake house, with activities the following day ( Bhm Barons, amusement park/ large pool, Bhm zoo, etc.). Two years ago, they started to do away with the overnights away. They just did a day trip to one of the activities or an overnight in the sorority house. Every house has different rules via their nationals or their chapter. But, you will have a good time and get to meet your pledge sisters.

Why did they stop doing overnight, that sounds so fun! Is it a hazing prevention measure?
