ADPI not old row

Why isn’t adpi considered old row it was founded before some of the other sorority on campus

Adpi did colonize very early on but they closed after about a year. They didn’t come back until the 1930s and Greek life was going strong by then. Both Zeta and Adpi actually claim to be the second chapter on campus.

Because Sororities are not actually Old Row or New Row, that is a Fraternity distinction. Yes, there are a group of sororities that have aligned with Old Row Fraternities mainly for the Old Row party and wind up being called old row sororities. Actually, sororities had their own distinction of circles and First Circle was considered the top. This goes back to when sorority row was comprised of three cul-de-sacs and the first one built was where KD, the old AGD and old DDD houses use to reside.
