Should I double text rush chairs

I hit up a rush chair early spring semester but didint get a text back. I have a couple connects to this fraternity already and been to one of their events. Should I text the rush chair again or is that weird

If you didn’t get anything from the rush chair ( who might be crazy busy), contact your connections and let them know you want to rush them. They will forward your info.
