Do sororities haze? Not in any old school sense. But, you WILL have to earn greek points and participate in activities that you might have to work around your school schedule. Some houses demand their members look a certain way at all times ( called 2/3 rule. Outfit, face, hair. At least two of those need to be on point). You will also have to do study hours and/or “health” (workout) hours ( depending on the house) and some girls do them with no issue and others feel like it’s a huge imposition on their time. Then, there is homecoming and Greek Week. Some houses go all out for these weeks and the hours are brutal. Some houses will fine members if they don’t participate or give valid reasons for non-compliance. Other houses don’t. My house is a “chill” OR house that got blasted on here for not participating much for HC, Greek week and (what used to be) derby days. We don’t fine and we don’t care about 2/3 rules. We DO have study hours and we can’t trade study hours for working out hours. My house couldn’t care less if you work out and we love to eat.

yeah bro its so bad here. during my pldgeship they made me massage the house moms feet every night before bed. seniors came into my bedroom every morning and cut holes in my underwear... they would even make me take my clothes off when I was at the house to make sure I was wearing the cut up underwear

That’s why a PNM should go where they really fit (and not where they think they should go) and not care about tiers. The ones who are unbothered are the ones who would do these things regardless of the house. A type-A personality that wants to be first in everything wouldn’t enjoy a chill house.
