As much as people don't like it, I think OR/NR will always matter at Alabama. It's actually a really interesting conversation to have, like why is it such a big deal to people? It's interesting to hear how people would rank the houses if OR was not a thing, and the thing is most people say no change

Here's how I saw it as an OOS new row guy. Old Row's alumni are more involved because they are closer. Things like gamedays and such are a bigger deal for their house and alumni take a more active role in keeping up the chapter. Old Row also has kids who come into Bama with more local connections and a better initial network at Bama built up. New Row is discovering Tuscaloosa and has to build these over the four years.

As someone in a NR house I agree it's interesting how much people get caught up in a dumb title when it truly doesn't really matter, OR and NR all do the same things
