Out of State Sororities

I'm going to Alabama in the fall and want to rush but I'm from out of state and I've heard some sororities will only take in-state girls. Is it worth rushing?

60% of UA is oos. about 30% of girls are in greek life. that 30% isn't all part of the 40% in state.

no all sororities here have OOS girls. OR houses tend to have more in state girls but they still take a good amount of OOS girls (closer to 50% than you think). it is more difficult to get an OR bid if you’re OOR bc they bid a lot of girls they know already from hs/home but it’s still possible
