Which Ones are Progressive?
by: Hmmm??I am coming from OOS and am wondering if the kind of house I want exists at Alabama. I would suffocate in a rigid, old-fashioned house or a house filled with people focused on appearances everyday. From what I’ve read, I’m thinking the Old Row sororities will not be a good fit. (Not meaning to offend, just being honest about myself and looking for the right fit). Which house is the most progressive and forward thinking??

u want to join greek which is traditionally a conservative thing (look at the liberal articles calling to dismantle life) and you are coming to alabama arguably the most conservative state in america. i want whatever ur smoking lol. but seriously try applying to berkeley or something. no matter what anyone tells you this campus is definitely not progressive. not to sound rude but i seriously think you should consider somewhere else if politics matter that much to you.

i am from NE, super liberal, but come on, it’s Alabama! every house will have a mix of girls with different political views. Old row may have more conservative girls, but just because they take more in state girls. No house is judging girls on who they vote for unless they are insanely involved on their socials and stuff. You will find people with the same opinions as you wherever you go.
