what about zeta makes them bad?

Someone’s working overtime on this thread to slam Zta. A bunch of posts back to back in a very few minutes. Makes me wonder.

Trying to decide how to respond to this post. I'll bite.

There is nothing wrong with ZTA. You just have to decide if they are for you; and that may be tough to do in one fast week during recruitment.

They chose to take OOS girls when maybe other houses did not. Is something wrong with that? They do self promote and there is really nothing wrong with that. They select attractive girls and there is nothing wrong with that. They may take grade risks that other houses may not. That is their choice and really nothing wrong with that. I mean their semester gpa is not bad at all, so why is it an issue? They have a house full of members and with all of those women there are many that are well-rounded and contribute to ZTA.

I just don't see the hate. Everyone has a choice and you can choose not to be in ZTA. ZTA has a really great house with many great women. You may not like them all and maybe not all of them are perfect, but what house really is totally perfect?

Choose what makes you happy.

The comments on “history” summarize things pretty well. I don’t see it as biased, but a pretty good summary of how, among some, they are perceived based on more than just the current reality.

I believe the “hate” gets pinned on them more than other houses, particularly from OR, because of that history. They get “thrown under the bus” faster than other houses for the same behaviors.

They also self promote (don’t see them as bashing other houses) and this also just aggravates the old school houses.

Add to that they are generally not impressed with what attracts many to OR and are OOR focused and it just creates tensions.

I had to go on their IG after seeing all the “tHeYrE hOt” comments.

Not to be a btch but individually, these girls look slightly above average at best.
Just scroll down a little and I want to specifically point out the post of “Mae” (girl in red dress standing with the old guy) in April. You can not tell me those eyebrows are hot lmao

It's 2023, wake up. There is a house for everyone at Bama. Zeta is a great house and a strong one at that. You can like them or hate them. There are plenty of young girls that would love to accept a bid there. The great thing is if you don't like them you don't have to return to the house nor do you have to accept a bid. Zeta is doing fine enough and they are happy. Go enjoy your experience and your OR or NR house. Go have a drink and stop the bashing. It is not worth losing sleep over or wasting your time bashing Zeta.

Zeta has the same high return rates as AXO, XO, Kappa, Tri Delt and Phi Mu. They get about 90% of the girls they want from the start. I was a Rho Chi and then part of the Panhell recruitment process and the numbers prove they have successful recruitments. Also you see Zetas at all the top Frat house date parties and swaps. Anyone who says they are anything other than top tier is completely misinformed.

If you are from somewhere other than “the deep south” and think the world revolves around more than “being wealthy in an obscure place with deep roots there” then ZTA is probably for you.

Yes, “people from those places” will find you embarrassing (and that won’t change no matter what house you find), but same of those people in your home town!

ZTA gets blamed for self promotion and hate.

HOWEVER, there a numerous threads and frequent comments bashing and insulting them and not one post listing them a the top house.

So who bashes, hates and promotes themselves?

Please find a better hobby than trolling Zeta on here 24/7. I know it’s hard. But try.
