Thought AGD and loved AGD, went to pref at AGD and KD, ended up ranking KD first because I figured that I'd end up in AGD if it was right, ran home to KD, I'm where I'm loved.

Went in thinking I wanted chi o and ended up preffing KD and phi mu. Ran home to my first choice but had my fair share of doubts about my decision first semester. But second semester found my core group of friends and know I ended up in the right place :)

Got the house I wanted all along - ZTA.

From the era with three at pref - and didnt go Kappa or Tridelt.

I thought I wanted AXO but then I realized they were a little too “fake” for me. I know rush is pretty fake but the girls in the two houses I preffed were just so real and friendly. I went to pref at DDD and AGD and wouldn’t change a thing.

How much did yalls opinions of the houses change from what you thought before rush to when you went through it?

Even coming from in state, my opinions changed a lot! You definitely realize after starting rush that the houses are more than just the reputation of the people you personally know. There were houses that I went in thinking I would love Bc of social media or people I knew from high school but didn’t end up vibing with them. And I loved some of the houses I didn’t know anyone in!

This is a good question.

Recruitment events are quick and you only talk to a few girls. You can click or not click with a “sampling” of girls from almost any house.

I found my opinions changing a lot from round to round.

And some houses just blended together - usually the ones I wasn’t so excited about.

Went in thinking XO but ended up Zeta. I am happy but would also have been happy at XO I think.
