hazing in sororities

so I really liked Chi O (please no negative comments about them that aren’t related to my question) and I think they’re my first choice, but my only reservation is the hazing...I’ve heard the chi o nationally hazes pretty bad. I’m not opposed to being hazed at all (unless very extreme circumstances obvi) but I just want to know what the hazing would likely consist of before I rank after the second day of philanthropy? tysm in advance

also would like to know about how hazing is (if at all!!!!) in phi mu, KD, DG, AXO, gamma phi, SK, aoii and pi beta phi!

Ummm, noooo. Haha! Sororities give you tons of gifts on bid day, go bowling, have big/little reveals and movie nights. If that sounds rough to you, drop out immediately because EVERY house does this.

Sororities (college) don’t haze. We are talking about a group of women here. Can you imagine the drama that would happen once someone went to their helicopter parent mama??? And all the people she’s gonna call?? Even BLINDFOLDS are considered hazing. And have been since the 80s. I was bummed because that would have been cool.

I graduated from UA 2 years ago and can only speak for sure on GPhi but there was no hazing! Also being close to girls in XO and PiPhi they weren’t hazed either. I believe no sororities haze so don’t be worried. Just trust your gut and go with your heart!

No sorority at UA hazes. Anything you read otherwise is a joke or a lie.

XO makes you get in a coffin during initiation is what my grandma said. So that is totally freaking me out, but also I heard maybe they don’t do that anymore? Or just at some chapters. If I make it all the way to pref, I’ll worry about it then.

I heard chi o hazes pretty hard. Something with a dead owl?!? Also they don’t get initiated until second semester which is a bummer.
